The Journey Of My Life

I’ve just watched the GMB 10th Anniversary Concert, in Surabaya Supermal Convention Centre. As expected from every GMB concerts….nice songs plus encore with amazing praises & worships. The ticket fee was only 40 thousand rupiah and for me it was too cheap…..i don’t know, i can’t say why, but i feel i get much annointings, musics, happinesses, joys also new friends from every of their concerts i watched, and it’s just for 40 thousand rupiah….again 40 thousand rupiah…Compare it with the Fourplay concert which was 75 thousand rupiah for the back class & more price for the VIP class, and i only got the musics….., yeah, i know i can get the different atmosphere there and new friends too, but the GMB concerts gave me more things that very-very uncomparable with the usual concert.

Sidney Mohede as the worship leader bring the great atmosphere to the show, supported by the excelent band-mates, name it: Daniel Sigarlaki, Jeffry Hermanto, Pongki Prasetyo, Amos Cahyadi and not-to-forgot (or  hard-to-forgot) Adi Prasojo . They bring the superb nuance…….uah! can’t say it, you’ve to feel it yourself…..you have to come next year or you missing the best concert….

Now i talk about the technical things:
First, the committee were worked all-out at their very best, from the ticketing, security, operational, etc. even most of them was felt very-very tired because they did their best, including my brother
The opening act was did by Rocky Ventury (eh, am i wrote it right?), i think he wasn’t too bad, but pitily his song wasn’t very popular so he doesn’t got many responses from the audiences…..hmm minus point   (or maybe this was usually happened to the opening act performances??)
The sound system was average, it was already use two 3×3 hanged-speakers (larger than the first concert in the Plaza Tunjungan), but since the room was very large and the reverb of the room was pretty bad, so the sound bounced everywhere in the room and made the sound product wasn’t at the very best condition, even at the opening act, the sound was distorted very bad…another minus point , but from the middle to the end of the show, the GMB’s soundman can handle this problem…i can hear them clearly…that’s the professional hands effect
The lighting…….what can i say….this is the best part….i can’t explain it in details, just look at my pics below and you can feel what i mean…

Still about the room, it was too big for approximately 2 or 3 thousand and more audiences, so there was still many empty spaces..too bad…maybe you wan’t to fill it next year or maybe your friends/families/relatives??? i hope so
The audiences….like always…most of them can’t freely express their feelings, because they’re affraid it would make them look weird….so the "shy-factor" was very dominant LOL.
